Set in a small town called Riverside, where the Survivors believe the army might be holding out, at least relatively safe from the Infection. On their trek to Riverside, they must go over a broken highway, a drain system, through a trainyard and a nearby small church. When they arrive, they must work their way through the abandoned town, until they ultimately reach a boathouse, where they may finally be rescued from the ravaging hordes of the Infected.

The Survivors must make their way through Newburg to a runway in hope of catching a plane from Metro International Airport to get away from the Infected. To get there, they must start their trek from a greenhouse, head past a crane, move through a construction site, traverse the airport terminal, and finally reach a runway where a military C-130 Hercules airplane is waiting to evacuate them.

Zombies lurk behind every tree, over every hilltop and behind every shadow in this terrifying moonlit search for a rumoured evacuation zone to the north: several acres of back-country farmland taken over by the military to get the last of humanity out of Ground Zero. Plunge through pitch-black forests, stumble blindly through fields of swaying corn, and take aim at the silhouettes leaping at you from the darkness—all towards finding a hold-out that might already have been abandoned to the horde.

The campaign takes place in Savannah, Georgia, a city that has only just been hit by the Infection. The campaign starts on top of a hotel converted into a evacuation center, recently swarmed by the infected. The Survivors witness the helicopters moving to a different location, and decide to follow them through the city. The Survivors' path leads them past a gun store and through a shopping mall, where they refill a Dodge Charger racecar to escape.

Takes place at Whispering Oaks carnival. The Survivors start off on a highway with the Survivors heading towards a Ferris wheel in the distance, passing through a motel complex, and eventually reaching the Whispering Oaks carnival.

This is where the Survivors end up after their chopper pilot becomes an infected to which Nick shoots him and they crash. You must navigate through the muddy terrain while watching for Mud Men who prowl around on all fours and escape by boat.

| Hard Rain
Takes place in Ducatel, Mississippi. Here, the rain never ceases to stop and has its points where it pours down the hardest and lightning strikes rather harshly. The old Ducatel Sugarmill Company still has its sugarcane fields there and old, broken down buildings house the locations of many Witches who prowl around, crying.

This is an old town which seems to not be as torn up as the rest of the locations. Jets are firing down upon the city with missiles, disregarding any non-infected life there unless one is able to reach them by radio, which is at the long bridge at the end. Make it there, and your home free.
